YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer player Hiromasa Iwai was named this week's Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after scoring two goals in a pair of Matadors' wins last week.

The sophomore scored a goal in a 3-0 win over Eastern Arizona on October 8, scoring the game-winning goal just before halftime to put the Matadors in front 1-0 in the 45^th minute.

Iwai continued the scoring in the week's final game, scoring another game-winning goal in a 5-1 win over Justice College, scoring in the 46^th minute to put the Matadors up 2-0.

Iwai has scored four goals in the last four games for the Matadors who have won six games in a row and sit in first place in the ACCAC.
