YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Soccer Freshman Naho Yamamura was named the ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in a Matadors' win.

Yamamura helped secure a huge win for the Matadors, beating No. 19 ranked Eastern Arizona on Tuesday evening.

The forward scored the game's first goal in the 20^th minute on a shot from outside the 18-yard box to put the Matadors up 1-0 to help the Matadors go one to beat the Gila Monsters 2-0.

Yamamura has started the last two games for the Matadors and has tallied points in three of the last four games.
