The Arizona Western College Men’s Basketball team is kicking off the new year by hosting the 2025 Chapman Automotive Summer Basketball Camp where students can learn basketball fundamentals.

K-12 boys and girls are invited to attend the two-day camp on June 2-5, 2025, and learn footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense, and rebounding from the Matador coaching staff.

Cost for the camp is $115 if students pre-register by May 29th. Online pre-registration forms can be found at this link, and payment can be made by calling (928) 317-7666 or at the AWC Cashier’s Desk, which accepts cash, check, and credit, in the 3C Building of the Yuma Campus. Payment must be received by 5 p.m. on May 29 to secure the pre-registration price. A campus map can be found here. 

Campers can also register at the door June 2^nd on the first day of camp for $130 (cash/check).

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, June. 2 - Thursday, June. 5th in the Gymnasium of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.

Participants should wear basketball attire (T-shirt, athletic shorts, and tennis/basketball shoes). All campers will receive a T-shirt.
