Arizona Western Matadors Softball is hosting the annual Chapman Automotive Great Western Shootout this upcoming weekend at the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex, Thursday, January 30-Saturday, February 1.
Arizona Western Matadors Softball freshman Autumn Arriola earned Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after the Matadors opened the season at the CSN Coyotes Kickoff Classic last weekend.
The Arizona Western Matadors Softball team (1-3) wrapped up play in the CSN Coyote Kickoff Classic in Henderson, Nev., on Saturday afternoon by dropping a pair of games, losing 9-1 to No. 10 ranked Salt Lake and 14-4 to Pima.
