YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western sophomore guard Mable Doumbia is this week's Chapman Yuma "Player of the Week." In the Lady Matadors season and home opener versus Pima College, Doumbia, the lone returner from last year's team, put up 14 points, 11 rebounds and added five assists in the Lady Matadors’ 71-58 win. Arizona Western enters the season ranked #17 in the NJCAA preseason polls. The Lady Matadors are on a six-game road trip starting tonight, November 5th, versus Midland College and ending November 15th, versus Lamar Community College. Arizona Western will be back home on November 19th, against Mesa Community College.
