YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western women's basketball player Mable Doumbia is this week's Chapman Yuma "Player of the Week." The sophomore guard followed up her NJCAA & ACCAC player of the week honors by pouring in a career high 38 points in the Lady Matadors win over Central Arizona this past Saturday. Doumbia's previous career high was 23 points which she achieved twice, once in her freshman year and most recently in Arizona Western's loss to #1 ranked Eastern Arizona on Wednesday, February 11th. Doumbia has tallied a double-double in four of her past five games and now has a total of eight double-doubles on the season. Arizona Western is currently locked into the #2 seed in the ACCAC standings and next hit the road this Wednesday to face Cochise College. The Lady Matadors then will return home this Saturday to host the College of Southern Nevada
