YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Basketball freshman Naomy Zonzon-Huyghe was named the Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after averaging 16.3 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game in three wins last week.

Zonzon-Huyghe started the week by scoring 21 points in the Matadors' season-opening win over Utah State-Eastern, scoring all 21 points in the second half while grabbing five rebounds in the win.

The forward continued the weekend by scoring 18 points and grabbing seven boards in an 88-50 win over Colorado Northwestern before finishing the weekend in Thatcher with 10 points in the Matadors' victory over Trinidad State.
