YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer Sophomore Peter Yaro was named this week's Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after helping the Matadors to a 9-0 win over Imperial Valley on Tuesday.

Yaro scored a goal and recorded two assists in his first game back, leading the Matadors to a nine-goal second half. Yaro scored the Matadors' seventh goal of the night in the 82nd minute.

The forward assisted on a pair of goals, providing the service for Stephen Saladin's 71st-minute goal and assisting on the first of two Klidi Stermolli goals in the final minutes.
