Arizona Western Women’s Soccer sophomore Yui Suetsugu was named Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after helping the Matadors to a season-opening win over Imperial Valley on Friday.

Suetsugu scored four goals and added an assist as the Matadors opened the season with a convincing 17-0 win over Imperial Valley.

The forward from Saga, Japan is in her first season at Arizona Western after spending her freshman season at Memphis University. Suetsugu is majoring in Sports Management at Arizona Western.
