YUMA, Ariz. - Arizona Western Volleyball player Sevval Aslan is named the Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week. The sophomore from Turkey recorded 25 kills and 11 digs during last week's Dalton Overstreet Invitational in Prescott, Arizona. 

"Sevval had another great week for us," Arizona Western Head Volleyball Coach Lorayne Chandler said." Had a good connection with our setter and found ways to execute kills."

The Lady Matadors will open conference play this Wednesday when they host the College of Southern Nevada at 7:00 p.m. at The House.
