YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Basketball freshman Matt Anglo was named the ACCAC DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 3-9 after averaging 15.5 points per game.

Anglo started the week by scoring a season-high 16 points in a loss to No. 24 Snow College in Thatcher, Ariz., on Friday afternoon, going 7-for-15 from the field while playing 28 minutes.

The guard from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada finished the trip to the east side of the state by scoring 15 points in the Matadors' 63-60 win over Utah State Eastern, playing in a season-high 36 minutes to help the Matadors erase a second-half deficit.
