YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western College Men's Basketball freshman Matt Anglo was named the Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after averaging 22 points per game in a pair of Matadors' wins last week.

Anglo started the week by scoring a season-high 30 points in a come-from-behind win over Central Arizona on the road. The guard finished 12-for-16 from the field and had seven rebounds in the 89-70 win.

The Waterloo, Ontario, Canada native finished the week by scoring 14 points in the Matadors' win over College of Southern Nevada, also grabbing seven boards in the 73-68 win to push the Matadors' winning streak to five games.
