YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer sophomore Terry Makedika was named the 2023 ACCAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year after setting a career-high with 13 goals, leading the conference.

Makedika finished the season as the top goal scorer in the ACCAC, netting 14 goals en route to earning the conference's Player of the Year honor. Makedika has scored a goal in six of the last seven games and has totaled eight goals in that stretch to lead the Matadors to an ACCAC title.

The forward from France scored a season-high four goals in an 8-0 win over Chandler-Gilbert on September 2 and has produced three multi-goal games this season.

Makedika also earned All-ACCAC First Team recognition and All-Region Region I DI honors for his efforts.
