
Nation's second-leading goal scorer Makedika signs with New Hampshire
Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer sophomore Terry Makedika has signed to continue his collegiate career at the University of New Hampshire after leading the Matadors in goal each of the last two seasons.
In his two seasons at Arizona Western, Makedika scored 31 career goals, five of which came in the NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Championships.
Makedika scored 19 goals in his sophomore season, the second most goals scored in the country while recording 42 points, the fifth-highest total in the nation. The forward notched five game-winning goals this season including the game-winner in the 1-0 win over Casper in the first game of pool play at this year's NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Championships.
The Paris, France native scored four goals in an 8-0 win over Chandler-Gilbert back on September 2, scored three times in the Region I Championship Game, a 4-2 win over Yavapai back on October 28.
The University of New Hampshire is an NCAA DI institution located in Durham, N.H. and the Wildcats compete in the America East Conference. This past season, the Wildcats went 13-3-4 and advanced to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
