Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer sophomore defender Nick Kinina will continue his academic and soccer careers at Florida Atlantic after helping the Matadors to two trips to the NJCAA DI National Championships.

Kinina played in 34 career games and scored six goals, scoring three goals in both his freshman and sophomore seasons at Arizona Western. The defender from Birmingham, UK, was named Second Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region I as a sophomore in 2023.

 Kinina finished the 2023 season with three goals and an assist as well, scoring the goal in the regular season finale in a 14-0 win over Imperial Valley before scoring twice in the postseason.

Florida Atlantic University is an NCAA DI institution located in Boca Raton, Fla., and the Owls play in the American Athletic Conference. The Owls went 6-8-3 last season and made the second round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
