Men's Soccer scores two second half goals in 2-0 win over Mohave

YUMA, Ariz. – The No. 6 ranked Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer team (7-1-1, 4-0-1) scored a pair of second-half goals to remain undefeated in ACCAC play beating Mohave (4-5, 3-2) 2-0 on Saturday evening in Bullhead City, Ariz., at Firebird Field.

Hiromasa Iwai scored two goals in the span of four minutes in the second half to lead the Matadors to a 2-0 win.

Iwai opened the scoring in the 71st minute, putting the Matadors in front 1-0 before extending the lead to 2-0 in the 74th minute.

Matadors' goalkeeper Esteban Gonzalez made a pair of saves to record the shutout in the Matadors' win.

The Matadors head to California on Tuesday, October 1, taking on Community Christian in an ACCAC matchup at 4:30 pm.
