YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Soccer forward Yui Suetsugu was named ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Goalkeeper Iyan Hernandez earned ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honors.

Suetsugu scored five goals for the Matadors last week to lead Arizona Western to three wins. The sophomore scored a goal in the Matadors' 3-1 win over No. 18 ranked Cochise on Tuesday before scoring four goals in the Matadors' 21-0 win over Community Christian before tallying an assist in a 4-0 win at Southern Nevada.

Hernandez played in all 250 minutes the Matadors played last week, making nine saves and allowing just one goal in three wins. On Tuesday, in the win over the Apaches, Hernandez stopped five of Cochise's six shots, allowing a goal on a penalty.

With the three wins, the Matadors extended their winning streak to 13 games and remained undefeated.
