YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Soccer players Yui Suetsugu, Linka Ono, and Asa Yamazaki all earned NJCAA DI Women's Soccer All-American honors after leading the Matadors to a national runner-up finish at the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championship.

Yui Suetsugu earned NJCAA DI Women's Soccer First Team honors after finishing the season seventh in the nation on goals, scoring 21 goals in 20 games during her sophomore season. Suetsugu was the Region I DI Player of the Year and led the Matadors to an undefeated regular season.

The sophomore from Japan put together a pair of four-goal games, scoring four goals in a win over Imperial Valley in the season opener before doing so again in a win at Community Christian in October.

Midfielder Linka Ono earned second-team All-American honors, after scoring 10 goals and recording three assists as a freshman this fall. Ono put together a pair of two-goal games, scoring twice in a 4-0 win at Yavapai and doing so again in a 21-0 win at Community Christian. Ono had the game-winning goal in the Matadors' 3-0 win over Yavapai in the Region I semi-final.

Defender Asa Yamazki was named an NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Second Team All-American, playing in 20 games and scoring a pair of goals and recording four assists. Yamazaki was part of a defensive backline that finished second in the nation in shutouts with 15.
