Women's Soccer scores three unanswered goals to stun Cochise 3-2

YUMA, Ariz. – The No. 15 ranked Arizona Western College Lady Matadors Women's Soccer team (4-1, 3-0) scored three unanswered goals to come from two goals down and beat Cochise (4-2, 2-1) 3-2 on Saturday night at Matador Soccer Field.

Cochise got off to a fast start, scoring the game's opening goal in the 10th minute off a penalty and added to the lead nine minutes later, capitalizing off a Lady Matadors' turnover.

The Lady Matadors dominated possession in the second half and were able to level the match in the 83rd minute when Ashly Martinez beat the keeper on the doorstep for the equalizer. Jezmin Castellanos put the Lady Matadors in front just three minutes later, getting behind the Cochise backline and firing home the game-winning goal.
